HEALTH FAIR – Ian Crane, dressed as a pea pod, welcomes visitors to Saturday’s Health Fair at Sweetland Hall on the SJ Campus. The Fair, which included free health screenings, flu shots, and informational booths, was held along with the Sitka Block Party on the SJ Campus. The 6th annual Sitka Health Summit Planning day will take place Oct. 12 at Sweetland hall on the SJ Campus.
Sitkans launch paper lanterns Friday on lower Moller Field. The event was held to show support for people with breast cancer and to honor the memory of loved ones who have died of breast cancer. October is national Breast Cancer Awareness month.
